mcrl2 software package provides formal specification language toolset, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mcrl2
mcrl2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mcrl2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mcrl2 *
You will get with mcrl2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
